I am a Teaching Fellow within the Institute of Criminal Justice Studies (ICJS) on the distance learning Community Justice Degree. I am module co-ordinator for dangerous offenders and the distance-learning youth crime module.


I graduated from the University of Portsmouth in 2010 with a BSc in Criminology and Criminal Justice. I practiced as a Probation Officer for 7 years and have specialisms in managing offenders subject to public protection measures including those convicted of terrorism and sexual offending, as well as the effective management of young offenders. I completed my MSc in Criminology & Criminal Justice in 2017 via distance learning with the University of Portsmouth.

I worked in the Ministry of Justice headquarters in project management teams for the youth justice reform programme and then EU exit. I returned to Probation in 2019 and spent almost 2 years there as a Senior Probation Officer in MTC - Thames Valley CRC.
