I loved the location and the idea of a city campus. Being by the sea is so amazing, especially in the summer as there are many places to visit and discover.

The University has taught me that studying isn’t about knowing all the right answers, it is about asking the right questions. Asking questions is your best friend. The lecturers encourage you to see them outside of taught sessions and to ask questions.

While you study with us, there'll always be somebody you can talk to, whatever you're going through.

We're home to more societies and sports clubs than you can shake a hockey stick or cocktail mixer at. Whatever you're into, you can do it at Portsmouth. And best of all, you'll meet like-minded people who share your interests and make friends for life.
I've been a team captain for a sports club, a course rep and I've volunteered with local charities such as Citizens Advice Portsmouth. There are loads of extra-curricular opportunities to improve your CV alongside studying.
