Well-being in the Workplace Short course

The health and wellbeing of employees is crucial to productive, profitable and successful businesses. However, modern workplaces - and workforces - are changing. Internal and external factors can impact on the mental health and wellbeing of staff and it’s essential that companies understand these factors and how to manage them proactively.

This course will provide you with an insight into the effects of work on staff wellbeing and the impact that poor mental health can have in the workplace.

We’ll start with an introduction to the key issues and the legal responsibilities for employers. The morning session will then focus on the financial benefits of developing a proactive wellbeing policy before considering the tools and guidance available to employers to support employees suffering from poor mental health and effective return to work.
